Built and maintained the quote and rating platform behind a national franchise insurance program covering roughly 13,000 U.S. locations, with configurable business rules and automated underwriting workflows.
An insurance group needed to quote and rate coverage for one of the largest franchise programs in the United States: roughly 13,000 locations, each with its own underwriting characteristics.
The work
I developed a platform with configurable business rules, underwriting workflows, and automated quote processing, working closely with underwriting and compliance stakeholders. The system had to encode real underwriting judgment while staying flexible enough for the rules to change without redeployment.
The outcome
Quote turnaround went from two days of manual processing to under fifteen minutes, at national scale, with a full audit trail for compliance.
